Mission Facts:

1. There were seventeen hundred languages into which no portion of the Bible had been translated.

2. Ninety percent of Christians who said they wanted to become missionaries never got to the mission field.–I hope that no one among us who are sure that God’s leading for us is mission work will not be part of that 90%.

3.Sixty-four percent of the people in the world had never heard the name of Jesus Christ. –Will you dare to be an instrument of God to make Jesus known to them?

4. Every hour, 5,000 people died worldwide, making a total of 120, 000 deaths a day.–Where is our passion for souls?

5. There was one Christian worker for every five hundred in the United States, while the rest of the world averaged one Christian worker for every fifty thousand people.

6. For every man who applied to be missionary there were eighteen women. –May there be more men willing to fulfill the Great Commission.
